Support i‘s Pension Credit Injustice campaign by adding your name to thispetition.

The new Pension Credit eligibility rules that will leave pensioners with younger partners thousands of pounds worse off each year need to be “reviewed as a matter of urgency,” the former pensions minister has said.

Steve Webb’s warning comes as i‘s petition calling on the Government to rethink the punitive benefit reform has surpassed 100,000 signatures since launching last month.

The Pension Credit Injustice campaign believes the changes to the entitlement for mixed-age couples – where one partner is above state pension age and the other is below – are unfair and will push older people into poverty.
